First Gluten Free Cake

My sister-in-law is getting married this May and I was asked to make her wedding cake.  This will be my first wedding cake and I am very eager to get started on it.  Because my sister-in-law has a sensitivity to gluten we thought we would try a sample gluten-free cake to see how it tastes. 

So a couple of weekends ago we went to South Carolina for a bridal shower that was being thrown for her.  I took the cake for her and her fiancee to try.  Many of the other family members tried it as well.  It wasn't too bad.  It definitely was a heavier cake like a pound cake.  My sister-in-law thought it was good and she even asked me to make the whole cake gluten-free so that is what I will be doing.
