About Bethany
Welcome to Bethany's Confection
Perfection! My name is Bethany and I am a follower of Christ, a wife, and a mother of 2 little
blessings with another boy on the way.
Growing up I have always had an interest in decorating
cakes. When a kid in 4-H, I entered cakes in our county fair. I
have included a picture of the first cake I entered here on my
site! Now I enjoy making cakes for others in my spare time.
Bethany's Confection Perfection is a place where I have compiled the cakes that I have done in the past. The
name of the site, Confection Perfection, came about when I was
trying to describe myself as well as tie in what I like to do.
Confection Perfection was a “perfect” fit. You could say I am a
perfectionist and am always striving to be and do everything perfect.
Most of the time this can get me into trouble but there are times
when this can be a blessing if used in the right way.
As a
Christian, we are called to strive to be like Christ.
This is something I fail at often but I think God wants us to be perfectionists in this area of our lives, always trying to be like the Perfect One. I am so thankful that we were given this example of how to live by looking to who lived, died, and rose again so that we could be forgiven for our sins and spend eternal life with an amazing, wonderful, loving and kind God.
